Hello
I am currently in the U.K under the oled HSMP visa.I am due to change it to Tier 1 general visa soon.I would like to know if there are any penaltied imposed if you apply for extension of visa after the visa expires(ie overstaying).If there is a valid reason behind it will the home office consider the application for extension?
