English language test

Re: English language test

Hello

In the circumstances you've described in your case, you would need to do the Life in the UK test and satisfy the English language requirements.

Exemptions occur where a person is under 18 or 65 and over in which case they do not need to meet the knowledge of language and life in the United Kingdom requirement.
Exemptions also occur because of disability, for example where a person has a long-standing, permanent disability that prevents them from learning English. The person would have to show to
be suffering from a long-term illness or disability that severely restricts mobility and ability to attend language classes or have a mental impairment that means they are unable to learn another language.

Hope this answers your question.
